Admission Procedure

→ Students are admitted on a first come first served basis depending on the availablity of vacant seats.
→ Parents/Guardians seeking admission for their wards shall apply in the month of January with the prescribed registration fee.
→ Parents need to obtain registration form and submit it to the Admission Counsellor/Reception to be considered for admissions.
→ All eligible candidates will be asked to undergo the process of test/interview or both test and interview depending on the Grade applied to.
→ Only the candidates who have had their names registered will be eligible to sit for the admission test. Admission test is compulsory for all candidates seeking fresh admission to school. No candidate will be admitted unless he/she has appeared in the test and qualified for the class to which admission is sought.
→ A transfer certificate will be required from the candidates coming from another school.
→ If the uniform and textbooks are not available during the admission process, the parents will be intimated about the date and time of uniform and textbooks issue.
→ Your ward will be allotted the section on the day of admission. The choice of the allotment of the Sections/Division and changes in it are as per the school rules and regulations. The parents are not expected to make a demand for a particular section/Division.
→ The school reserves the right to admissions, and in all matters pertaining to admission, the decision of the Admission Committee will be final.
→ A parent who seeks admission at St. Xavier ipso facto accepts all the rules and regulations of the school and ignorance of the rules and regulations of the school shall not be considered an excuse.




Filling The Application Form

→ The admission form should be duly filled and submitted to the appropriate desk. Parents/Guardians are requested to fill-in the admission forms with utmost accuracy.
→ No changes will be permitted thereafter, for any reason whatsoever.
→ Incomplete applications will be rejected.
→ The personal data entered in the admission form should be same as in the other documents like the birth certificate, TC, and Aadhar Card.
→ If the name and other details are different in a document which is required to be submitted along with the completed admission form, the applications will be rejected.
→ Father's name and Mother’s names should be same as shown in their documents.
→ Spelling of name of Student/Mother/Father/Guardian should be as is recorded in the Birth Certificate and maintained as per Birth Certificates, Aadhar Card, Admission and Withdrawal Register by the school.
→ Date of Birth should be as per the Birth Certificate, Aadhar Card, Admission and Withdrawal Register maintained by the school.
→ No abbreviations should be given. Expanded name of student and Mother/Father/Guardian should be given.


Payment

Once the school fee is paid, the admission stands confirmed and the parent will receive the school books, uniform and school diary which will inform you about further formalities and rules and regulation of the school. The fees for all should be paid at the time of admission only.
No Refund: The fee, once paid, shall not be refunded under any circumstances.


School Bus Service Rules

To ensure the safety, discipline, and punctuality of students availing school transport, the following rules must be strictly followed:


1. General Guidelines

→ Parents/Guardians must opt for the Bus Facility at the time of admission or beginning of the academic session through the prescribed form.
→ School bus service is an optional facility and may not be available in all areas.
→ Transport fees are seperate from tuition fees and must be paid as per the school schedule (quarterly). Once opted, the fee is applicable for the whole session.
→ One-month notice is required for withdrawal from bus service.


2. Safety Regulations

→ Students should reach the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
→ Boarding and deboarding should only be done at the designated stops.
→ Students must remain seated during the journey. No movement is allowed while the bus is in motion.
→ No part of the body should be extended outside the bus windows at any time.
→ Throwing objects from the bus is strictly prohibited.


3. Student Conduct

→ Discipline must be maintained at all times inside the bus.
→ Any damage to the bus caused by a student will be chargeable.
→ Use of offensive language, fighting, or bullying will lead to suspension from bus service.
→ Students must listen to and follow instructions given by the bus staff.


4. Parental Responsibilities

→ Parents of young children should be present at the bus stop during pick-up and drop-off.
→ In case of a change in pick-up or drop-off routine, prior written information must be submitted to the school.
→ The school is not responsible for personal belongings left in the bus.


5. Temporary/Emergency Changes

→ Temporary changes in route or bus stop will not be entertained unless there is a valid emergency and written permission from the Principal/Administrator.
→ In case of unforeseen circumstances (weather, roadblock, etc.), the school will notify parents through the registered contact number.




Cancellation of Selection

→ Delay in payment would result in cancellation of the admission and admission will be rejected.
→ Submission of completed application form is not a guarantee for admission at St. Xavier.
→ The application can be rejected at any point of time if the management observes the application unsuitable.
→ All applicants should undergo a necessary test or interview or both in core subjects failing which the application would be rejected forthwith.
→ The admission test result should fulfill the conditions or criteria as may be established by the school management or reviewed from time to time to qualify for admission at St. Xavier.
